    HUMINT Targeting Specialist Mid
    This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence Polygraph Cherokee Analytics is seeking exceptionally qualified individuals to serve as HUMINT Targeting Specialist
    The HUMINT Targeting Specialist provides detailed all-source HUMINT targeting support, including in-depth analysis of the topics, in support of operational planning and target knowledge

    HUMINT Targeting Specialist Mid Responsibilities Include:

    • Conduct all-source intelligence analysis to describe the placement, access, accessibility, vulnerabilities, and motivations of individuals, who have access to foreign intelligence information of value to U.S

    national security, and to describe the structures and functions of organizations and/or networks in which information of value to U.

    • Identify potential HUMINT leads through exploitation of classified and open-source, multi-discipline intelligence reporting, databases, and finished intelligence production
    • Produce comprehensive HUMINT targeting packages that clearly summarize a lead's likely placement and access to relevant information that has the potential to answer priority intelligence requirements, as defined by the Collection Managers, which the Division or Office is seeking to answer via HUMINT collection
    • Work with Collection Strategists, Collection Managers, and analysts to define and task specific HUMINT collection activities in support of strategic-level collection strategies
    Work closely with HUMINT Source Managers and Collectors to support hard target-focused collection operations


    • Review, produce, and/or coordinate HUMINT plans, orders, annexes, target packages, variant analytical products, operational proposals, and tasker requirements
    • Provide technical advice and guidance to enhance HUMINT targeting support to HUMINT Collectors
    • Apply HUMINT targeting methodologies using available intelligence tools, applications, and databases to include, but not limited to, Voltron, Rockstar, Data Xplorer, RMT, CHROME, QLIX, Palantir, Proton, and i2 Analyst Notebook
    Performs other job-related duties as assigned HUMINT Targeting Specialist Mid Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:


    • Have at least two (2) years of experience in operational and/or strategic-level targeting
    • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Intelligence, Criminal Justice, Political Science, World/Regional History, and/or other history/political/intelligence or law enforcement topic
    In lieu of a college degree, must have at least six years in a HUMINT Targeting Specialist or All-Source analytic role


    • Active TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain a Counterintelligence Polygraph
    • Professional knowledge of all-source target analysis concepts, principles, and practices, to include link analysis, network analysis, social media analysis, target analysis, and raw data fusion, and experience applying this knowledge to create comprehensive targeting packages
    • Proficiency in computer-based tools, such as CHROME, CRATE, Pathfinder, M3, i2 Analyst Notebook, Palantir, and others, that are commonly used by the Intelligence Community
    • Experience applying knowledge of HUMINT collection capabilities and target development strategies/processes against prioritized regional and transnational target sets
    • Experience conducting classified and unclassified research and analysis in support of HUMINT collection operations
    • Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills to prepare and deliver briefings and papers for senior officials
    • Experience in at least three of the following disciplines: HUMINT, SIGINT, OSINT, IMINT, and/or MASINT collection capabilities and dissemination systems
    • Experience working with other DoD and Intelligence Community agencies, and interfacing with customers and/or functional peer group managers and senior leadership
