Job Overview:
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Medication Aide to join our team. As a Medication Aide, you will be responsible for administering medications to patients, ensuring their safety and well-being. This is a crucial role in providing quality care to our residents and clients.

Duties:
- Administer medications to patients according to prescribed dosages and schedules
- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions or side effects from medications
- Assist with physical examinations and medical procedures as directed by healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist in the implementation of care plans for patients, including those with dementia or in hospice care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures

Requirements:
- Valid Medication Aide certification
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in assisted living or nursing home settings
- Knowledge of physiology and medication administration principles
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (Epic)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care
