About Us
Porch Swing Homes is a growing residential homebuilder in Bay County, Florida, focused on building high-quality coastal homes. We are currently building and selling homes throughout the area and are looking to expand our team as we continue to grow.
We are seeking a Construction Project Manager who takes ownership, is highly organized, and can manage multiple homes from start to finish with minimal oversight.
This is an opportunity to join a growing company and play a key role in building systems, improving processes, and helping scale the business.
Position Overview
The Construction Project Manager is responsible for the full execution of residential construction projects, including schedule, budget, quality, and customer experience.
This role requires someone who can operate independently, manage multiple priorities, and proactively solve problems to keep projects moving forward.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management & Execution
- Manage 6–8 active residential construction projects simultaneously
- Schedule and coordinate all subcontractors and material deliveries
- Maintain project schedules and ensure homes are delivered on time
- Track progress and proactively address delays
Quality Control & Jobsite Management
- Perform regular jobsite inspections to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites at all times
- Ensure all work is completed per plans, specifications, and company standards
Trade Partner Management
- Schedule and manage trade partners
- Hold trades accountable to schedule, quality, and budget
- Communicate clearly and maintain strong working relationships
Customer Experience
- Conduct homeowner meetings including:
- Pre-construction meetings
- Frame walkthroughs
- Final orientations
- Maintain strong communication with homeowners throughout the build
- Ensure a professional and positive customer experience
Budget & Cost Control
- Build homes within established budgets
- Review and approve change orders and cost variances
- Identify cost issues early and proactively address them
Systems & Process
- Follow company processes, scopes of work, and quality standards
- Utilize JobTread (or similar software) for scheduling and tracking
- Maintain organized and up-to-date project information
Project Completion
- Manage punch-out and final completion
- Ensure homes are ready for closing
- Minimize warranty items through attention to detail
Ownership & Accountability
This role is responsible for delivering homes from start to finish.
The Construction Project Manager must take ownership of their projects, proactively solve problems, and ensure successful outcomes without requiring day-to-day supervision.
Performance Expectations (KPIs)
- Deliver homes on or ahead of schedule
- Maintain budgets within ±2-3%
- Successfully manage multiple projects at once
- Maintain high quality with completed punch-out and no warranty issues
- Communicate effectively with team, trades, and homeowners
Requirements
- 3+ years residential construction experience (preferred)
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to read and understand plans
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Excellent communication and follow-through
- Proactive problem solver
- Valid driver's license

Compensation
- $65,000 – $90,000 base salary (depending on experience)
- Performance-based bonuses tied to schedule and quality
- Truck allowance or company vehicle (if applicable)
- Opportunity for growth into a Director level role
