    Position Details:

    • Location:Loomis, CA
    • Position Type: Full-Time/Onsite

    Job Description: As an SLPA, you will work under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to provide direct support to students with speech and language impairments. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Implementing therapy activities and interventions designed by the supervising SLP.
    • Assisting students with speech and language exercises and activities.
    • Conducting small group or one-on-one therapy sessions with students.
    • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support students' communication goals.
    • Documenting student progress and communicating effectively with the supervising SLP.

    Qualifications:

    • Associate's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant or related field.
    • Certification as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistantin the state of California.
    • Previous experience working with students with speech and language disorders preferred.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
    • Passion for helping students overcome communication challenges and succeed academically.
