    Description

    Role : Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor

    Location: Chattanooga, TN

    ABOUT THE POSITION

    The Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor establishes and directs a manufacturing engineering team.


    • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, specifically in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.


    • Candidates should have at least 8 years of progressively responsible leadership experience in Engineering or a similar field.


    • Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD is necessary for creating 3D solid model designs, covering the entire process from concept to fabrication.


    • Familiarity with industry regulations and standards is essential to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.


    • A deep understanding of at least one engineering discipline (such as electrical, software, or mechanical) and associated design principles is a must.


    • Thorough knowledge of plant engineering, industrial engineering, and tooling is required.


    • Candidates should have expertise in hydraulics and diesel systems, with additional knowledge of control systems and power trains being advantageous.
