    The Epic Implementation Specialist is responsible for Epic template design, redesign and configuration to optimize workflow and end-user satisfaction.

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, including clinicians, IT personnel, and Epic application coordinators, to ensure that the system is used correctly, efficiently, and effectively to meet the needs of the organization.
    • Provide support for Epic applications, ability to perform break-fix, enhancements, project work, and ticket support.
    • Assist with translation of end-user workflow-based report requests to specific data points required for report development.
    • Train clinical and non-clinical staff on use of system within their roles, tasks, and responsibilities.
    • Troubleshoot Epic electronic medical record, practice management, and dental issues with templates, stored procedures, interfaces, and documents.
    • Coordinate issue resolution to include corrective action, after action events, and provide change recommendations as needed.
    • Identify vulnerabilities, need for upgrades, and opportunities for improvement, inclusive of disaster recovery plan.
    • Auditing to ensure integrity and maintenance of patient data to ensure confidentiality, security, and retention of key data.
