- Deliver compassionate care to all patients
- Assist in triaging patients, performing physical exams, treatments, and medication administration
- Operate and maintain hospital equipment
- Handle patient restraint and assist in administering medications
- Communicate effectively with clients and educate them on various topics
- Maintain hospital cleanliness and ensure proper grooming of patients
- Adhere to safety and wellness regulations
- Promote hospital products and services
- Follow directions from the veterinary team
- Keep accurate medical records
- Be present and punctual for all shifts
- Perform any other assigned duties
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of experience in a veterinary setting
- VTNE Certification preferred
- Experience in surgical monitoring, radiology, and client education is a plus
- Continuous education and skill improvement is valued
- Maintain knowledge in the field and seek continuing education
- Ability to work with animals and various hospital procedures
- Flexibility in scheduling, including weekends and holidays
- Physically demanding job that involves lifting and constant motion
