    Description

    Job Overview:

    • The Caseworker provides trauma-informed services to refugees and other qualified immigrants, including Afghan parolees, to support a positive resettlement experience and the achievement of client self-sufficiency. The Caseworker works closely with clients, colleagues, and external parties to develop service and/or self-sufficiency plans to meet individual client needs and preferences utilizing a broad range of financial, medical, social, vocational, and other services and resources in accordance with client eligibility and program requirements.
    **Coordinate timely pre- and post-arrival services to ensure each client has living essentials such as housing, food, medical care, and access to transportation, and is oriented to their new environment.
    Conduct intake services with clients to assess needs. Develop self-sufficiency plans and timelines in partnership with each client. Provide individualized support through direct services, referrals, and advocacy.

    Assess and monitor client progress to support their attainment of established goals, address challenges, and to ensure that available resources are utilized.

    Input client information in database(s) and assist with tracking and reporting as needed.
    Build and maintain relationships with area service providers for the benefit of clients.

    Use personal, insured vehicle and/or public transportation (where available) to travel and transport clients and materials as needed throughout the service delivery area.


    Education:

    • Bachelors degree in social work or related field of study preferred.

    Work Experience:

    Relevant professional experience in human services field required; Strong relationship building, diplomacy, and networking skills; Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills combined with the proven ability to multi-task, prioritize duties, and manage time effectively.

    Fluent in English, both spoken and written; proficiency in Arabic required

    Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook); ability to use the internet and other digital tools for data entry, research and problem-solving purposes.

    A combination of standard office environment, remote work, and field time within the service delivery area to perform the above outlined responsibilities.

    May require weekend and/or evening work.

    Location:

    Denver Urban Management Essential Duties and Responsibilities**STAFF SUPERVISION: * Maintain an up-to-date list of contractors who are familiar with the building and who have done work in the building before.

    The Property Management Company will maintain a staff, independent of the Association staff for this purpose.

    • An up-to-date list of units for sale or for lease in the building will be maintained by a third-party contractor and it is not in the scope of the Associations responsibility to do so. This information is generated from information received from s or their agents and is not intended to be representations of the Associations or of on-site Management.
    • The manager shall become familiar with the insurance coverage and insurance deductible policies of the Associations to the extent that non-technical questions of the residents can be answered.
    • Maintain and update the Office Policy Manual.
    • Schedule Front Desk Staff and Move-in/Move out monitors to ensure complete coverage and approve all time sheets, review work schedules and duties.
    • Coordinate mailings to owners and residents.
    • Approve invoices for payment for on-site services
    • Advise East West Urban Management office of changes in addresses of owners and residents.
    • Filing of documents to include paid bills files, deeds, correspondence, rules, etc.
    • Contact and schedule work to be done by outside contractors in the Building.
    • Update FOB & key system for new residents and/or any changes of existing residents.
    • Reconcile the petty cash report on a regular basis.
    • Monitor move-ins, move-outs, fire alarms, maintenance and mechanical activities, complaints and requests.
    • Post notices to alert residents and collect money are necessary.
    • Add or delete residents on the office roster, mailroom and monitors roster.
    • Establish and insure adherence to office hours of 8:00 a.m. Prepare work orders as needed based on Building inspections and reports from monitors or residents. Coordinate moves by padding freight elevator and locking off freight elevator as necessary.
    • Maintain key control and card access control by logging names, times, dates, etc for all keys or FOBS given out.
    • If required take reservations for Amenities including the Club Lounge, Library including receipt of deposits, signing of leases, issuing keys and reviewing rooms for damage after use.
    • Inspect guest parking on a regular basis for illegally parked cars.
    • Answer phones and assist at the front entrance.
    • Receive packages and other deliveries and notify residents of such receipt. All deliveries will be logged into a Package Log via the Association software and the resident will sign the log upon pick-up of the parcels.
    • Maintain office supplies and maintenance agreements on office equipment.
    • Investigate and resolve comments, concerns or complaints issued by residents. A follow up letter to the resident indicating any corrective action is recommended.
    • Experience in customer service/administrative field i.e. hotel, property management, F&B, retail management, receptionist. Required 3 years experience in High Rise management and 3 years in HOA property manag
