    Contract Litigation Attorney

    Location: Century City, Los Angeles, CA

    Pay Rate: $70 to $80 per hour

    Job Type: Full-Time, Contract, Hybrid

    LHH is working with a Civil Litigation firm, located in Century City, CA, in seeking a skilled Contract Litigation Attorney. The successful candidate will have 2+ years of experience in civil litigation, demonstrating expertise in prepping pleadings/motions, discovery, document review, arbitration, and deposition experience.

    Responsibilities:

    • Legal Research and Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case strategies.
    • Pleadings and Motions: Prepare, draft, and file pleadings and motions in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Discovery: Manage the discovery process, including drafting and responding to discovery requests, and participate in discovery-related proceedings.
    • Document Review: Conduct comprehensive document review, ensuring accuracy and relevance to the case.
    • Client Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, providing updates and answering legal inquiries.
    • Depositions: Conduct and/or participate in depositions, utilizing strong oral communication and analytical skills.
    • Court Appearances: Represent clients in court hearings, conferences, and other legal proceedings.

    Qualifications:

    • California Bar Admission: Must be an active member of the California State Bar.
    • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in civil litigation.
    • Business Litigation (Preferred): While a background in business disputes, professional liability or securities litigation, is preferred, candidates with a strong foundation in civil litigation will also be considered.
