- Manage and grow customer base with a large geographic territory
- Create & execute specific strategic plan to profitably grow the business
- Attain revenue targets and KPI's as set by the Sales Director
- Assist and guide customers in product selection and influence sales towards strategic brands
- Continuous follow up on assigned quotes
- Quote to close ratio of 20% or greater
- Evaluate, monitor and resolve sales related issues in a timely manner
- Participate in construction site meetings as required to assist in issue resolution
- Collect market intelligence and competitor activity information and share through company database
- Provide timely and accurate forecasts on sales projections
- Generate accurate and timely field reports
- Participate in industry and promotional events
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Experience in Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook
- Good Communication & writing skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Ability to read and understand equipment operation manuals, Safety Data Sheets and other literature as required
- Good mathematical skills
- Critical Thinking and Problem Solving Skills
- Outside Sales Experience a MUST
- Carpentry skills preferred
