    Salary: $24.00 -$26.00 per hour.Shift: 40-hour work week; Monday through Friday.Work Location: In-Person.Benefits: Medical, Dental, 401K, Vision, Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability and Paid Time Off.

    Overview of the Role:

    Summary:

    The primary purpose of this position is to assist Nassau Financial Federal Credit Union to live out its Service Mission, "Improving the financial well-being of each Member and the communities we serve," by providing outstanding service to both Members and internal Members. A key component of this service is to identify Member needs and provide appropriate Credit Union product solutions. In addition, responsibility for the coordination, reporting and quality control of the Credit Union's indirect vehicle lending program. To provide sales leadership to Nassau Financial FCU Members, by assisting the Membership with a full array of Credit Union lending and share products. Ascertain the Member's financial needs to ensure efficient and effective delivery of such products. Provide mentoring and coaching congruent with the sales and service culture of the Credit Union. Facilitate all requests in a professional and prompt manner.

    Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
    • To deliver service in alignment with our Service Promises.
    • Meets all established Credit Union corporate goals.
    • Possess adequate product knowledge as measured by the annual product knowledge certification assessment.
    • Use various systems and applications to originate and fund loan applications.
    • Responsible for accurately opening and processing new accounts, obtaining proper documentation, and all new account verification. Distributing appropriate disclosures to comply with regulatory guidelines.
    • Perform underwriting, processing and loan disbursal functions on consumer loan products, including but not limited to online loan applications, indirect lending channel and pending queue loan applications and if applicable, refer loan requests to appropriate parties.
    • Ensure all loan documentation, including but not limited to Adverse Actions notices and loan documentation provided by Member(s), are indexed and archived appropriately in our imaging system and/or our Loan Origination System (LOS).
    • Ensure interest rate accuracy on all loan documentation.
    • Interact with staff, Members and vendors as needed, ensuring all loan service requests are satisfied in a timely manner.
    • Follow applicable procedures set forth by Management.
    • Collaborate with the Quality Control Specialist to address and resolve any audit findings/observations.
    • Monitor and reconcile various reports interacting with appropriate departments to ensure data integrity.
    • Assist in title administration, loan origination support and various vendor sponsored web-based reporting systems.
    • Communicate and provide feedback with third party vendors such as dealers, credit bureau agencies, title companies, other institutions and businesses as needed.
    • Remain in compliance with the Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), as implemented by Regulation B and FCRA as it pertains to Adverse Actions.
    • Remain current with regard to legal, regulatory, economic, and internal changes to our products and services to constantly provide the most effective feedback to co-workers and Members.
