- Makes initial contact with the insured and the adjuster.
- Works up and finalizes job scopes with adjusters and clients.
- Completes an accurate estimate with listings of all items required to complete the repair work.
- Drafts and submits initial invoicing and cooperates with accounting on collection efforts.
- Reviews completed files for profitability and accuracy of the original scope of work.
- Recruits, establishes rapport and contracts with specialized subcontractors.
- Provides quick and accurate responses to adjusters, agent property managers, tenants and other concerned parties.
- Maintains constant professional communication with customers and vendors.
- Manages details of multiple projects in an organized and efficient manner.
- Attends all Company meetings and functions required of the position, including weekly production and monthly Estimator meetings.
- Attends and suggests professional trainings as appropriate for the position.
- Leads an on-call emergency response team on a rotating basis and serves as first point of contact for customers.
- 4+ years of experience as an Estimator in the restoration or commercial construction field.
- Candidates with restoration industry certifications will be prioritized.
- RRC Registered Roof Consultant (RRC)
- REWC - Registered Exterior Wall Consultant (REWC)
- Professional Engineer (PE)
- Must have experience with estimating software such as Xactimate.
- Prefer a 4-year degree in either construction, business, or another related field.
- Strong communicator able to lead teams and projects to completion.

Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing clients team as Commercial Estimator. They are a commercial property and multi-family restoration team, with headquarters in Downtown Milwaukee. This is a direct hire position with 1st shift hours M-F, pays $40-$50+/hour based on relevant experience, and full benefits health/dental/vision insurance, PTO, and a 401k match
The Estimator will be responsible for providing accurate and timely estimates for restoration projects. You will be accountable for performing job site inspections; documenting losses with accurate measurements, notes, and photographs with strong attention to detail; estimating the cost of reconstruction of the entire project using Xactimate; negotiating mitigation and reconstruction costs with insurance carrier representatives; communicating with the President on issues that will affect the project schedule and/or budget.
