- GAs will coach an average of 25 sessions per week, per season, as assigned by the supervisor.
- GAs will complete all makeup sessions, as assigned by the supervisor.
- GAs will record attendance for all sessions, upload photos to the supervisor as requested, complete season certificates and high-five cards (or similar), complete player evaluations, distribute prizes and other duties assigned by the supervisor.
- GAs will participate in the onboarding and training of other Soccer Shots coaches.
- Before each season, GAs will assist in the launch of the upcoming season, which includes performing demos, attending marketing events, delivering flyers, packaging/fulfilling youth jerseys, organizing and distributing equipment and prizes, and other duties assigned by the supervisor.
- During seasons, in addition to coaching, GAs will be assigned hours to cover which may include answering the phone, serving as a substitute coach, or performing other office duties assigned by the supervisor.
- To close each season, GAs will coach final makeup sessions, help collect and clean inventory, and assist supervisor with any additional duties.
- GAs must be enrolled in and working towards earning their Masters degree in a subject field of their choice. Partial tuition reimbursement is provided upon your successful completion of coaching seasons and course work, as defined by compensation summary.

SOCCER SHOTS COUS:
Soccer Shots COUS (COUS) was established in 2010. COUS covers the regions of DC, Maryland, Northern Virginia, New York City, NY, Miami, FL, and Nashville, TN. Soccer Shots Baltimore-Washington stretches from Harford County, MD to Prince William County, VA. Soccer Shots Baltimore-Washington offices are located in Laurel, MD, and Fairfax, VA. COUS works closely with Soccer Shots Franchising national headquarters in Middletown, PA. COUS offers programs during each season of the year.
REPORTS TO: Executive Director
ROLE/CLASSIFICATION: The GA position is a part-time, year-round, non-exempt position requiring 28 hours of work per week. Working hours will vary from season to season but will usually consist of some daytime hours, some weekday evening hours, and weekend hours. There will be some required split shifts in the same day (i.e. 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm).
REQUIRED TRAITS AND COMMITMENTS: Soccer Shots GAs must love children and respect the game of soccer. GAs should have work experience as a coach, teacher, instructor or educator or should have academic experience in a related field. GAs should be resourceful, professional, caring and take initiative in their work. GAs should be committed to a strong work ethic, possess strong communication skills and must have a positive attitude. Candidates should also live within the DC/Maryland/Virginia region.

Coaching
Compensation & Benefits:
Stipend Year One: $12,500
Stipend Year Two: $15,000*
Gas Allowance: ($250 allowance paid 4/x annual) $1,000
Tuition Reimbursement: $5,250 per calendar year ($2,625 every 6 months)
Total Compensation & Benefits: Year One: $18,750 Year Two: $21,250
IRA Retirement: 3% match
*Increase subject to successful completion of year one objectives and assignments
TUITION REIMBURSEMENT: $2,625 is earned and paid upon the successful completion of a) two Soccer Shots seasons and b) a semester of graduate school. Paid out every 6 months. In order to receive the reimbursement, you must submit proof of payment and successful course completion to the Soccer Shots Executive Director. Up to $5,250 ($2,625 x 2) may be earned each year as a total reimbursement. This reimbursement might not be subject to personal income tax (check with your tax accountant).
