    Neurology - Headache Specialist

    Job Description Summary:
    Function as a staff physician in the Department of Neurology. Dutiesat KUMC will involve assisting in the general neurology clinics,hospital rounds, teaching medical students and neurology residents,and fellows.


    Job Description:

    • Be part of the Neurology program at the medical school.
    • Supervise neurology residents and medical students. This will include supervision of residents in the hospital wards, and in the general neurology and headache clinics.
    • Generally, resident continuity clinic supervision is once a month.
    • Teach medical students on the wards and in clinic, and provide occasional lectures to medical students.
    • Pursue scholarly activity in the areas of headache medicine.
    • See patients in the outpatient headache neurology clinic.

    Required Qualifications:

    • MD, DO, or foreign degree equivalent
    • Neurology Residency
