Job Description

On-Call Banquet Server

Be a part of a spectacular event As a Banquet Server with Fairmont Hotels & Resorts you will create a special event that our Guests will remember. Your ability to work as a team player combined with your service skills and your engaging personality will ensure that our Guests have a memorable experience.

What you will be doing:

Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful way
Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions, menu items, and preparation methods
Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
Ability to work cohesively and collaboratively as part of a team

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

Constant standing and walking throughout shift
Constant lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs
Occasional kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting
Occasional ascending or descending ladders, stairs and ramps
