    Job Description

    ARM EnerTech Associates, LLC (AETA) is a wholly owned subsidiary of ARM Group Enterprises Inc.

    AETA is looking for a self-driven Electrical Engineer who will collaborate with a team of multi-disciplined Professional Engineers (PE), project managers, designers, end customers, and other staff to service our client's needs as well as gain unprecedented experience to grow and become a well-recognized industry expert.

    You will support a wide range of projects related to, automation, control systems, control panel design and electrical power systems.

    Responsibilities:


    Responsible and accountable for projects including designs of electrical power systems, renewable systems, controls systems, motor drives, programmable controllers, hardware, and instrumentation.

    Prepare, review, and update design drawings using AutoCAD.
    Perform and/or check technical calculations.
    Use the principles of electrical engineering to develop solutions to project problems.
    Support and lead on-site Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), system startup, and training functions related to designs.
    Manage projects budgets to ensure they are delivered on time and under budget.
    Research code, standards, and equipment manuals as needed to ensure project compliance.
    Prepare reports, letters, emails, etc. for projects.
    Collaborate with other team members to meet deliverables on projects and obtain further knowledge and experiences.
    Effectively communicate with key stake holders including project manager, project engineers, and other members of the project team.
    Pro-actively recognize conditions and problems of non-routine nature, develop solutions, and seek guidance when needed.
    Job Requirements

    Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
    FE or PE certification preferred, but opportunity to obtain certification can be developed.
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with AutoCAD or equivalent engineering software is a plus.
    Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
    A self-starter possessing strong communication, planning and organizational skills.
    Desire to work on multiple projects in parallel rather than a single large project for months.
    Requires travel to job sites and frequent out of the local area overnight.
    Comfortable working around energized power distribution equipment and related control systems.
    Effectively communicate with key stake holders including project manager, project engineers, and other members of the project team.
    Pro-actively recognize conditions and problems of non-routine nature, develop solutions, and seek guidance when needed.

    Preferred Requirements:
    Experience utilizing various PLC, HMI, SCADA, or power system software programs.
    Experience in Siemens and Allen-Bradley automation components.
    Knowledge of UL508A Control Panel design and standards.
