We are looking for a part time associate veterinarian to help continue to grow our practice.We purchased an existing practice a few years ago and have worked hard to have a qualified support staff and provide a positive working environment.
We want you to continue to love coming to work and practicing veterinary medicine. We do not treat appointments like a factory line of in and outs.We allot the appropriate amount of time for appointments and want to see you build relationships with both our existing clients and new ones.
Ideally, we would prefer someone with at least two years' experience working in a practice and seeing clients.Applicant should have experience with and feel comfortable communicating with staff and clients, with all aspects of seeing appointments from diagnosing and designing treatment plans to soft tissue surgeries.
We are a small animal practice seeing mostly dogs and cats but in more recent years have added on some exotics and pocket pets.
We believe in giving back to our community by working closely with a local rescue providing the majority of the care for several hundred pets a year.
It provides us all with a good mix of being able to help rescue while also having a good client base and being able to offer high quality care to both.
We have in-house lab equipment, digital radiographs, digital dental radiographs, full dental equipment and instruments, ultrasound, an oxygen chamber, fluid pumps, and all the necessary monitors and equipment for surgery.
Cost of veterinary license, AVMA membership, AVMA PLIT will be covered, and you will have access to VIN and paid time off.
Ideally, we would prefer someone with a minimum of 2 year's experience working in a practice, seeing clients, and preforming surgery.
