    JOB PURPOSE:

    Join our team at Polly's and help maintain our reputation for Fresh, Friendly service, exceeding expectations every day As a Kitchen Sanitation Specialist, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our kitchen area remains clean and safe by upholding high cleanliness and sanitation standards.

    JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES:

    • Sort and rinse dirty dishes, pots, pans, and cooking equipment, preparing them for the dishwashing machine.
    • Maintain clean dishwater and ensure it meets safety standards.
    • Hand-wash pots, pans, and trays as necessary.
    • Dispose of trash and garbage responsibly, transporting it to the dumpster.
    • Set up and break down the dishwashing area as required.
    • Clean and manage the rolling/unrolling of mats.
    • Prepare soak tubs with cleaning and sanitizing solutions.
    • Sweep, mop, and maintain clean floors and drains.
    • Assemble and disassemble the dishwashing machine as needed.
    • Keep the exterior of the restaurant tidy, including the surrounding area of the dumpster.
    • Adhere to safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques and personal protective equipment use.
    • Assist with general store and restroom cleaning as directed.
    • Immediately wipe up spills to keep kitchen floors safe.
    • Always wash hands before handling clean dishes after touching dirty ones.
    • Regularly inspect the dish machine for cleanliness and report any malfunctions promptly.
    • Notify the Manager on duty if the dish machine fail to meet safety temperatures.
    • Measure and prepare ingredients according to Polly's Pies recipes.
    • Participate in various tasks including salad bar preparation.
    • Flexibility in scheduling is required, including availability for dinner shifts, weekends, and holidays.
    • Be ready to assist in different roles depending on business needs.
