    About the role:

    To perform Quality Assurance release/inspection activities on Finished Goods Medical Devices. Control of products through such activities as release of new product lines to Finished Goods, processing shipping holds, processing/controlling pre-release product lines, processing scrap, processing/controlling quality records manufactured by Boston Scientific and external suppliers. Inspectors follow SOPs, work instructions, and product-specific inspection plans to execute release activities. Inspectors are responsible for proactively escalating any quality issues or concerns identified during the Final Review and Release process. Inspectors ensure all release results are recorded appropriately, adhering to Boston Scientific's Good Documentation Practices SOP. Performs basic statistical analysis through the collection and input of data into software applications or manual calculations.

    Your responsibilities will include:

    • Releases product to Finished Goods/inventory following acceptable release criteria(s). Data entry and SAP/MES/WM/eRelease transactions related to inspection and release activities. Perform inspection activities on products, in such categories as sterility inspection, incoming inspection and in process inspection.
    • Interface with plant representatives and external functional groups in identifying and resolving potential nonconforming issues.
    • Performs investigation on material through review of processing records in all systems. Executes the disposition of material through approved nonconforming reports, completion of scrap forms and other applicable documents.
    • Ensure that all product and corresponding paperwork meets requirements and specifications.
    • Perform all release activities.
    • Handle product/system issues in all release areas
    • Performs other duties as required
    • This position will support additional team responsibilities/projects.

    Required qualifications:

    • 1 Year with Associate in Arts degree/diploma, or an equivalent combination of education/work experience

    Preferred qualifications:

    • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
    • Ability to read/write English to complete paperwork and interpret procedures and have strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to work across multiple release areas physically moving to each area.
    • Basic computer skills, detail oriented, focus driven and the ability to work in a dynamic team setting.
    • Flexibility to work overtime or cross-train to other functions.
    • Must be able to lift boxes (up to 40lbs)
    • Maintain compliance to Regulatory and Corporate requirements.
    • Proficiency in SAP/MES/WM preferred.
    • Solid understanding of quality concepts and procedures to perform inspection/release activities.
