    We are seeking an Events Intern to join our team and contribute towards growth in our events offerings at Heirloom Hospitality. This is a paid internship that requires a minimum commitment of 20 hours per week from June 1st - September 1st.



    Compensation: Hourly - $18.00

    As a summer intern reporting to the Event Sales & Operations Manager, you'll assist in managing Heirloom's event operations. Your responsibilities include supporting sales and lead generation activities, helping organize plans for on-site execution, maintaining event inventory and marketing materials, and collaborating on standardized event procedures across locations. Your role contributes to achieving strong sales growth, exceptional guest experiences, and ongoing business development aligned with our core values.



    Event Intern Responsibilities:

    • After training, with the oversight of the Events & Guest Services Coordinator, respond to initial event inquiries and leads.
    • Support tours of properties with event guests and accompanied by the Events & Guest Services Coordinator, meet with prospective guests on site.
    • Learn our event management software, TripleSeat. With the support of the Events & Guest Services Coordinator, help facilitate Banquet Event Orders (BEO) in a detail oriented manner.
    • Support the Events & Guest Services Coordinator in day to day tasks by working in office or on site each day.
    • Review and audit executed events from the prior day to ensure feedback is processed, transactions were reconciled correctly and guest follow up occurred.
    • With Events & Guest Services Coordinator curate offsite event and charity opportunities that grow Heirloom Events brand in the community.
    • With Events & Guest Services Coordinator facilitate on site event execution, acting as a liaison between the guest and the operations team to help execute events.
