Job summary
Provides acute stroke services to reduce disability and death Responds to Stroke Alerts in the emergency department and Rapid Responses/Codes throughout the hospital involving stroke patients Participates in immediate evaluation initiation of stroke protocol consideration and administration of intravenous thrombolytics thrombectomy or other appropriate intervention for seamless delivery of stroke care Actively participates in multidisciplinary secondary stroke prevention Works with both Neurology and Neurosurgery departments
