The sonographer's role includes providing clinical support and conducting various vascular imaging procedures based on patient requirements. This involves non-invasive vascular exams to identify potential vascular issues such as venous duplex exams, arterial physiologic exams, carotid artery duplex exams, and more. The position also entails performing measurements and calculations in accordance with established protocols.
FLSA: Non-exempt
Qualifications
Minimum Education
X High school diploma or equivalent X Required
Completion of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program, a certificate vascular program, or an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Ultrasound program.
Required Skills
Essential qualifications include critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently in high-pressure environments.
Minimum Work Experience
Preferred one-year experience.
Availability
Expected to be on call, work weekends, and holidays on a rotating schedule.
