    Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesInclude the following. Other duties may be assigned.
    Responsible for active solicitation of the association and trade show markets.
    Act as a liaison with building personnel, CVB's clients, etc. to represent ASM and assure client's needs are meet.
    Represent the facility in all industry-related Trade regional and national tradeshows.
    Prepare bid proposals and follow through on pending bookings.
    Prepare and assure compliance with all rental agreements.
    Handle pre-event correspondence and meetings until the account can be turned over to an Event Coordinator/Manager.

    Prepares Sales Strategy PlansMaintain and update facility booking calendarExcellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills requiredAbility to effectively supervise staffAbility to prioritize multiple projectsHigh aptitude for figures and advanced writing skillsProfessional presentation, appearance and work ethicActs as Executive on Duty as required.

    Supervisory ResponsibilitiesDirectly supervises Managers, Assistants or Coordinators in the Sales Department. The Director of Sales carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with ASM's policies and applicable laws.

    Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding; disciplining employees in conjunction with Human Resources; addressing complaints and resolving problemsQualificationsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
