Job summary
Work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, the Medication Technician, Post-Acute performs patient-centered,nursing care activities to meet the physical and psychosocial needs ofthe patient by preparing administering and recording oral nasal transdermalrectal inhalant and ophthalmic scheduled medications.
- Preparesand passes all prescribed medications to residents as physician ordered usingproper dosage routine timing and technique.
- Demonstrates ability torecode name of drugs dosage time of administration and other relevantinformation in medical record.
