    Position Description:

    We are looking for a Software Engineer with web and mobile app experience to join our growing team Are you excited to apply your talents to delivering cutting-edge solutions to our customer's challenging projects? The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing high-quality, scalable web and mobile applications. They are a recognized professional with hands-on technical expertise with a high understanding of technical engineering concepts.

    Position location is hybrid in nature with on-site presence required in Broomfield, CO.

    Responsibilities:

    • Design and develop high-quality, scalable web and mobile applications (Initially web with the opportunity for mobile platforms to follow)
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as software architects, program managers, designers, and other engineers to design, develop, test and deploy software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
    • Analyze user requirements and develop software specifications.
    • Write clean, efficient, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code that follows software development best practices.
    • Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to other engineers.
    • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
    • Debug and fix issues.
    • Develop and execute test plans to ensure software quality.
    • Deploy software applications to production environments.
    • Maintain and update software applications to ensure they meet user needs and remain secure.
    • Mentor and guide junior engineers.
    • Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in technology.

    Clearance Requirement:

    • U.S. Citizenship is required.
    • Candidate also must agree to participate in a background screen.

    Required Qualifications and Skills:

    • BS or advanced degree in Computer Science or similar relevant field
    • 5+ years of experience developing web and mobile applications
    • Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries and APIs
    • Strong understanding of mobile and web application development best practices.
    • Detail oriented
    • Good verbal and written communication skill
    • U.S. Citizenship

    Candidates who have one or more of the following skills will be preferred:

    • Experience with WebGL
    • Strong experience with Flutter UI SDK and Dart programming language
    • Experience with geolocation and mapping
    • Experience building backend web services
    • Experience with Gitlab
    • Experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools and methodologies
    • Experience with cloud computing platforms (eg: AWS, Azure)
    • Experience with database design (eg: Postgres, NoSQL)
    • Experience with messaging middleware (eg: ZeroMQ)
    • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
    • Willingness and ability to learn new languages as necessary

    Salary Range: In compliance with Colorado's Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary range for this role is $115,000 - $155,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, and certifications.
