We are seeking (2) dedicated Class A CDL Flatbed Truck Drivera (Local) 1099 pay platform with weekly settlement to join our team.
+Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer with a manual transmission across designated local routes.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or other tools as necessary.
- Secure loads properly on flatbeds, roller deck truss trailers , to ensure safety during customer requires a minimum of 3-5 days training in order to understand the proper handling and safety requirements for loading and unloading at they're facilities as well as operating the truss roller trailers, depending upon how quickly you are able to absorb and understand the routine and requirements that our customers have in place the training can sometimes be as simple as 2-3 days so as it's not a extremely difficult job there's a lot of moving pieces that need to be understood by our drivers.
Skills
- Valid Class A CDL license with experience in flatbed, truss trailer over widthoperations.
- Proven experience in truck driving, especially within a local route environment.
- Ability to operate vehicles with a manual transmission confidently. 10 spd 13 spd 15 spd double overdrive type manual only WE HAVE NO AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION TYPE EQUIPMENT
. Experience with various freight types including load & unload, roll-off truss trailers, over width loads , and other commercial vehicles.
Familiarity with safety protocols related to driving, cargo securement, and vehicle maintenance. ,.
