- Provide expert guidance in the architecture and design of RF spectrum monitoring systems, considering factors such as frequency bands, modulation schemes, power requirements, and system integration.
- Identify and develop innovative RF monitoring solutions to address evolving mission requirements and the challenges of geolocation of RF signals for the warfighter.
- Conduct advanced analysis of RF monitoring systems using simulation tools and models to optimize solution performance, triangulate radio frequency interference sources, expand capability, and increase mission success.
- Provide training and mentorship to military personnel tasked with performing spectrum monitoring missions.
- Collaborate with partner and cross-functional teams, including hardware and software engineers, to achieve integrated and optimized system solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Install, integrate, and deploy unique RF-based software applications on Windows and Android operating systems.
- Write and maintain technical documentation for research, development, testing, and evaluation standards and practices.
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of systems engineering experience implementing and supporting RF systems.
- Strong understanding of RF principles and communication systems utilizing Software-Defined Radios (SDRs), spectrum analyzers, and signal generators.
- Experience with SIGINT/COMINT systems.
- Experience in transmitter geolocation using RSSI, line-of-bearing-based direction finding, and time difference of arrival (TDOA) techniques.
- Knowledge of military and commercial communication system operations (tactical radios, VHF, UHF, LMR, ADS-B, voice)
- Knowledge of wireless communication standards (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LTE, 5G)
- Proficient oral, written, and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in Windows and Android operating systems.
- Hold current Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Location & Travel:
This Radio Frequency Engineer-SME position will be a Hybrid position and based out of Joint base San Antonio, Texas
Security Clearance:
This Radio Frequency Engineer-SME position must be a United States Citizen and hold a current Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI
