    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in Safety, Engineering or related field OR a minimum of three years handson experience in Safety or PSM.
    • Thorough knowledge of OSHA, PSM and EPA requirements
    • Professional verbal, written and facilitation skills; comfortable creating and delivering training materials.
    • Ability to work with people at all levels; strong interpersonal and relationshipbuilding skills. Models composure and decisionmaking in stressful situations.
    • Organized to work within deadlines; attention to detail, problemsolve under pressure and handle emerging requirements with accuracy.
    • Competent in MS

    Office Suite:
    Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Experience in food manufacturing facilities (esp. poultry)
    • Regulatory compliance knowledge, including USDA regulations, HACCP, GMP and Food Safety (SQF)
    • Experience in SAP
    • Knowledge of general First Aid and

    CPR JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing an established food processing operation who is currently seeking a key individual for the role of Process Safety Coordinator.

    As the Process Safety Management (PSM) Coordinator, this successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the process safety management compliance efforts, per all required government/applicable regulations and company philosophy on team member safety.


    Essential Functions:

    • Ensures PSM compliance by serving as the primary resource for the implementation and enforcement of all PSM program components, to include tracking and reporting all PSM metrics that document our compliance with the program, review, update and communicating plant procedures that comply and align with applicable regulations (e.g OSHA, EPA reports) and maintain all plant PSM records/reports.
    • Educates and updates team members by developing, coordinating, and facilitating all required PSM trainings and manuals to cover the 14 PSM elementals and corporate and/or plantspecific procedures; educates key managers, supervisors, and hourly personnel on their roles in PSM and RMP compliance.
    • Creates SOPs and P & ID (Piping and Instrumentation diagrams) for new construction projects, and make modifications to those that are found to be incorrect.
    • Develop and contribute to PSM incidental manual and RMPs for the company's facility. ALL INQUIRIES ARE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL.
