    Job Description

    There is an opportunity for a Relationship Development Executive with a focus on our Buyside, Voice of Client initiatives in the US.

    The ideal candidate is passionate about leverage and developing relationships and uncovering insights in the finance industry with respect to Corporates and Financial Institutions.

    As a Relationship Development Executive, you will work as part of a centralized team in cultivating relationships with senior buy-side professionals, buy-side industry organizations and relevant publications, conducting interviews, and obtaining valuable insights across our studies that gives Coalition Greenwich its competitive advantage in the global analytics and business intelligence market. You will help shape and execute marketing strategies and conduct face to face and phone interviews directly with decision makers at some of the highest levels of global organizations. Individuals in this position will work closely with the firms Marketing and Field Operations teams as well as relevant Subject Matter Stakeholders who run the studies and provide you with the context on buy-side content relevant for your counterparts at leading corporates and their industry organizations. Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to be persuasive with buy-side clients are critical to the success of this role; financial markets knowledge is essential.

    Principal Responsibilities:

    • Be a key stakeholder in shaping and driving the overall corporate buy-side marketing strategy of Coalition Greenwich in North America
    • Establish and drive the Coalition Greenwich brand at Industry events and with Associations and explore opportunities with relevant media organizations
    • Contribute to Coalition Greenwich research and insights through the data gathering and relationship building process
    • Arrange and conduct interviews with financial executives at pre-selected Corporates and Institutions
    • Represent Coalition Greenwich to top executives, demonstrating high levels of ability, knowledge and integrity
    • Build and nurture relationships through in-person and telephone interviews
    • Collect data through conversations and questionnaires
    • Support field activities including universe improvement via primary or third party research activities

    Qualifications/Experience:

    Our ideal candidate is seeking to make a substantial difference to the quality of data in the US markets. Being a good relationship builder, professional manner and self starter are essential. Candidates must also have experience in the US markets. Furthermore, the ideal candidate should possess the following essential (and desired) requirements:

    • Experience in the banking or finance sector
    • Experience in B-to-B marketing a plus
    • Demonstrates solid business judgment and the ability to think and act independently
    • Able to manage a portfolio and return the desired results within the allotted time frame
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Technically capable in Excel and Word
    • Outstanding organizational, persuasive, and time-management skills
    • Tenacity and perseverance towards study results
    • Solution driven and creative thinker
    • Excellent phone manner
    • Team player
    • Location in the Tri-state area a plus
