    The Manager is responsible for implementing GHE Healthcare worker activation/Healthcare worker pod strategy into execution in alignment with business needs; leading and managing the design and implementation of localized/in-country social impact plans in alignment with J&J's Medtech and Innovative Medicine business segments. This individual acts as a strategic advisor to the business to shape and deliver comprehensive plans, inclusive of, but not limited to:

    • A portfolio of programs (grants, disaster relief, other investments) created with external partners.

    • Drive strategy implementation and portfolio development in support of Healthcare Workers across North America. Steer strategy development, cross-enterprise coordination and change management for partners and programs.

    • Develop and lead strategic partnerships with healthcare bodies, Professional Nursing Associations, and non-profit organizations, driving cross-functional collaboration within Johnson & Johnson to deliver impact Workforce.

    • Coordinate information sharing and metrics tracking across portfolio of partners, supporting both business units, enterprise planning, communications, and executive reporting.

    • Develop and maintain external partnerships, collaborating on grant proposal development with potential program leaders and guiding grantees toward objective completion.

    • Serve as a resource for Nursing team, providing perspective on campaigns and opportunities to support nurses and nursing students, especially of minority demographic backgrounds, and as speaker for J&J events.

    • Offer insights into healthcare worker-centric investments as a subject matter expert for J&J Impact Ventures.

    • Provide expertise in global advocacy, communications and thought leadership. Led partnerships with advocacy organizations, health care professional associations.

    MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    The primary purpose of this role is to work with J&J business leaders to co-create and design new programs, and manage existing legacy GCI impact initiatives and new GHE signature programming to:

    a) Deploy new social impact programs across across North America and manage contracted commitments in accordance with strategy,

    b) Drive positive reputation for J&J through proactive communication plans, increase storytelling capability of J&J Foundation-funded programs,

    c) Coordinate Social Impact activities currently managed separately to facilitate simplicity, efficiency, and best practice-sharing, connecting the dots between global, regional, and local efforts,

    d) Implement metrics, tracking & reporting processes, managing budgets and creating financial reports,

    e) Adhere to all governance & compliance requirements listed in J&J's SOP taking proactive action to eliminate any potential risks.

    OTHER DUTIES

    • Lead grant-making efforts and represent J&J externally. Review and assess grant proposals against established criteria and develop recommendations.

    • Lead efforts to update/develop documentation of key processes and identify opportunities for improvement/efficiency. Ensure approved proposals are executed timely against agreed-upon budget and manage grantmaking IT system, CyberGrants.

    • Develop project plans to operationalize and monitor existing grants' performance, KPIs tracking & reporting. Review progress reports submitted by grantees and work with them to ensure completeness and accuracy based on clear definition of success, measurable goals.

    • Analyze information received from internal and external partners to determine significant performance drivers and obstacles and identify activities/strategies needed to keep grant programs on track to fulfill agreed-upon deliverables.

    • Implement consistent processes and operational excellence across social impact portfolio of programs - Governance, Internal Awareness, and Capability Building.

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities with results-focused mindset, willingness, and ability to work across internal teams and with grantees to deliver results.

    • Effective time management, strong prioritization skills and ability to work independently handling multiple projects/priorities simultaneously, working on a remote, independent environment.

    • Deep and current understanding of local ESG/Social Impact trends, knowledge of what is material to J&J stakeholders, and good grasp of J&J's record of achievement in these areas.

    • Flexibility and ability to successfully navigate ambiguity and succeed in a fast-paced organization.

    • Work collaboratively across functions, including comfort directly interacting with senior executives; acting locally but thinking globally.

    • Knowledge of teamwork and relationship building skills to influence and collaborate across multiple levels, cultures, and functions across international markets.

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    • Ability to create, implement and operationalize vision/strategy. Strong process orientation with superior project management capability to influence and align the thinking of others at senior levels.

    • Excellent communication/presentation skills in English (written & oral) and PPT skills to capture it in presentation form to persuade others.

    Salary

    The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market.

    The base pay range for this position is $99,000 - $170,200 USD

    Bonus

    The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis.

    • Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
