    Description

    Specific Skills Required for Position:

    • Microsoft Word, good communication skills, office experience a must, procurement background helpful, great skills in maneuvering different computer applications.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Assisting with "crunch" and helping to ensure that we meet our commitment plan for this fiscal year;
    • Emailing to the universe of potential bidders; acting as bid opening official, assisting with bid openings and acting as a "scribe" documenting results; entering Bid Tab information following bid openings;
    • Working effectively in our Vendor Access System Database.
    • Routing and executing contracts. Ensuring that projects are processed in a timely manner.
    • Organized and facilitated Pre-Award Meetings, with various in-house staff, outside consultants and contractors.
    • Ability to multitask, while issuing addenda, preparing bid packages, perform bid opening, etc.
