- Provides guidance, screening and health education to patients to promote and maintain health within gastroenterology practice
- Perform comprehensive health assessment including obtaining a complete and accurate health history; performing a complete and accurate physical examination
- Collaborates with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patients
- Provides monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits; maintains and reviews patient records, charts and other pertinent information; posts tests and examination results; triages patient telephone calls and provides consultation
- Develops and implements health promotion, illness/injury prevention and therapeutic plans congruent with the client's diagnosis, health care problem or need
- Master of Science degree in Nursing
- Current Washington State Licensure as a Registered Nurse or Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Active involvement with professional organizations (ANA, WSNA, AANP, SGNA)
- Current AANP or ANCC certification or AAPA
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Current ACLS Certification

- Occasional travel may be required to other local locations on an as-needed basis to back-fill for vacations, etc.
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the day, up to 10 hours per day
- Prolonged periods of sitting and performing administrative duties including the use of computers
- Ability to bend, twist, stoop, and reach
- Able to lift and carry supplies and equipment as needed (up to 15 pounds)

Washington Gastroenterology is seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our Federal Way and Covington Clinic Team. The Physician Assistantwill be responsible for providing internal care for delegated medical aspects of care with collaborating physician(s).
