    Time: 8:15am-3:15pm

    Classification: Exempt

    Reports to: Summer School Administration/Athletic Director/Assistant Athletic Director

    Pay Rate: $5000 stipend

    Start Date: June 3, 2024

    Position Summary

    Oversee and direct the daily operations of the Panther Cubs camp by supervising camp counselors and

    campers for the June session (June 3-June 28)

    Duties and Specific Responsibilities

    Assist with summer school preparation, which may include:

    1. Plan and coordinate, with Summer School Principal and Vice Principal, camp activities

    2. Ensure necessary equipment is available and accessible to campers

    Serve as the Camp Counselor for the June session:

    1. Supervise camp programming, personnel, and attendees.

    2. Communicate as appropriate with Summer School Principal and Vice Principal, Athletic Director

    and Assistant Athletic Director regarding campers or camp staff

    3. Manage emergency plans and paperwork as outlined by the emergency plan and safety procedures

    provided by the Summer School Administration.

    Requirements

    Education & Experience

    • High School Diploma
    • Experience working with elementary school children
    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    Experience supervising/managing others is preferred.

    Strong ability to multitask.

    The Panther Cubs Camp Director must be able to:
    • lift and/or carry moderate weight:10-20 lbs. of school materials such as textbooks.
    • Spend a considerable amount of the day on their feet and walking around campus
