Position Summary:

The East Cobb Jet's Pizza location seeks DeliveryDrivers that enjoy the time critical demands of transporting customer deliveries from the restaurant to a customer's desired location, while also assisting with customer demands in the restaurant. There is never a dull moment with this multifaceted position. The work requires reliability, a level of multitasking, attention to detail, and a desire to exhibit exceptional customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Driver Task Execution

Follows the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a vehicle.
Communicates with dispatchers, drivers, and other team members to make deliveries.
Checks orders before delivery to ensure that the correct products have been made, and that charges are accurate.
Meets delivery deadlines, while delivering orders to customers' homes and businesses.
Manages cash and card payments upon delivery, as needed.

Inter-Restaurant Task Execution

Rostock's pizza boxes in the restaurant.
Utilizes the POS and phone system to take orders as customers call in.
Maintains restaurant standards by stocking and cleaning.
Ensures restaurant cleanliness daily by washing, sanitizing, and drying dishes.
Enforces and maintains safety and food quality standards.
Timely arrivals for shifts and stays until all duties are complete.

Required Qualifications:

Valid driver's license, current insurance, and vehicle registration.
Time management to ensure deliveries are made on schedule.
Success with exhibiting exceptional customer service.
Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination to stay safe while driving.
Willingness to work long shifts.
Ability to keep inventory organized.
Great verbal communication skills.
Follows all food and Department of Transportation safety guidelines.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
The noise level in the work environment is generally high.
Wear food safety protective gear.

The independent franchisee controls all of those topics and makes decisions regarding them without the involvement of the franchisor. Franchisees are small business owners who are the sole employers for their own Jet's Pizza locations, and are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable laws, including employment laws. Jet's America, Inc. is the franchisor of the Jet's Pizza chain.
