- Support the Production Manager as needed to run the day-to-day operation
- Serve as a resource for Production employees whenever there are questions of any kind pertaining to production schedules and work progress
- Assist in the implementation of new products to production
- Open and close shop orders
- Expedite jobs throughout the shop as required
- Attend daily department meetings, note production needs for the day
- Work with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Planning and Purchasing to get resources assigned to work on and resolve noted issues from above
- Respond to QA, ISO and Safety Audits to drive improvement
- Contribute and lead LEAN events as needed
- Work with Team Leaders to identify gaps in resources and miscellaneous needs
- Comply with safety & corporate guidelines on business ethics.
- Follow environmental and safety regulations and acts in compliance with U.S. laws.
- Other duties as assigned
- 5+ years relevant experience desired but not required
- Working technical knowledge and experience in an aerospace environment preferred.
- Management: ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
- Computer proficiency: strong skills in various PC applications
- Excellent and effective interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.
- Office Environment sitting or working as needed for meetings, emails, etc
- May be exposed to industrial oils, toner, coolants, solvents, lubricants, adhesive and other chemicals. NOTE: All safety precautions will be used.
- Work in both climate controlled and open-air environments.
- Could work in areas with excessive noise. NOTE: Ear protection available.
- Up to 8 hours per day in a manufacturing environment walking and/or standing majority of the time.
- Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 lbs as needed
- Could require intermittent and long periods of sitting and/or standing.
- Required to do repetitive work.
- Periodic lifting of materials not to exceed 50 pounds.
