    Description

    Looking for a Contingent Workforce Specialist to act as a business partner between staff and operations, workforce planning, labor functions and external staffing agency partners by playing a key role in staffing agency management programs and processes for fulfilling short term labor.

    • Must be onsite 2+ days in Wilmington, MA
    • 3-6 month contract, could potentially convert to permanent.
    • Hourly rate $50_/hrly

    The Contingent Workforce Specialist will be highly motivated, with an understanding of Contingent Workforce Program drivers like vendor quality, cost, efficiency and risk

    Responsibilities

    • Operational responsibility for the centralized recruitment and procurement of contingent workforce for all functions
    • Primary liaison to guide hiring managers and staffing agencies through the contractor acquisition process, for requisition engagement, screening and hiring.
    • The program lead will provide contractor market knowledge (including general availability of skills, rate guidelines) and relevant contingent workforce legislation.
    • Lead the entire contractor recruitment lifecycle - Vendor resume screening, interview coordination, negotiating rates, offer presentation, creating and maintaining candidate record in the ATS, ensuring all documentation is completed for new contractors
    • Facilitate on-boarding and off-boarding of contractors and conduct regular follow up with managers to ensure contract success and to provide early mitigation of issues.
    • Provide regular and ad-hoc operational reports and trend analysis for managers and executives on recruitment process, contractor procurement, and staffing agency effectiveness.
    • Assist in the definition, development and documentation of processes, project plans etc.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of full life cycle recruiting experience , preferably both in corporate and agency environments.
    • 3+ years of contingent workforce program preferred.
    • Ability to effectively communicate and build relationships with managers, executives, staffing agencies, and contractors.
    • Experience working cross functionally with legal, procurement, IT, and other relevant teams.
    • Proven negotiation and influencing skills
    • Experience working in a high volume, fast-paced environment, and managing ambiguity.
    • Experience with Workday is preferred.
    • Understanding of recruiting metrics, report development, and analysis
    • Familiar with relevant contingent workforce legislation (including co-employment, overtime, etc.)
    • Assist in the definition, development, and documentation of processes, project plans, etc.
