This is an entry level position as Customer Service Representative at Lakeside AMPM in Elk Grove, CA. The representative will provide excellent customer service and sales skills to sell gasoline, car washes, tobacco products, beer and other related products.
+Responsibilities
- Greet customer with a smile eye contact hello Build customer loyalty Up sell meet customers needs End customer transaction thank you come again Responds to emergency situations performs all required duties as indicated in the Hazard Communications Kit Injury/Illness Prevention Manual Clean facility equipment during shifts pump islands restrooms pies car wash areas driveways fountains ovens warmers counters containers utensils etc using the Process Cards Collect payment from customers for their purchases either in the form of cash or debit transaction and encourages other purchases through up selling Interacts positively with the public resolves basic customer service issues within prescribed limits using tact sound judgment Communicate effectively positively both face to face using phone Understand written oral instructions Prepares fast food for sale cooks arranges hot foods attractive presentation minimizing waste carefully following instructions recipes Must adhere company standards regarding sanitation refrigeration cooking Responsible all cash merchandising equipment assigned shift Instructs customers how use self serve equipment Prepares required reports account funds products sold assigned shift Takes inventory items counts money balances reports accordance Company policy Operates maintains facility equipment safe manner air machines vacuums car wash convenience store equipment Stock shelves walk ins merchandise Maintain time record week accurately indicate hours personally worked Maintains PRIDE areas Scope CSR acts primary contact customer Business 7 day 24 hour operation Within first few weeks job must be able to learn wide range responsibilities including safety security cash handling customer service receiving stocking ABC compliance preparation frequently changing menu fast food hot prepared foods cold beverages frozen desserts Working Conditions Must work various shifts weekends extended hours change work schedules short notice On site supervision generally present day shift Employees usually work alone p m early a m hours Subject temperature changes walk in cooler normal store environment Work proximity oven food warmer Emphasis cleaning sanitation involves use of hot water detergents bleach Physical requirements Must have ability lift least pounds Must stand confined space hours time Able work outside during seasons summer heat winter cold rain Able work fast paced environment maintaining high energy level +
