We are currently assisting our client with a Materials Manager search near Toledo, OH.

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Materials Manager will be responsible for managing and implementing manufacturing materials operations and strategy to ensure the achievement of plant goals.

This position will also be responsible for master scheduling, inventory management, and logistics operations.


Responsibilities:
Manage aspects of material management to include: scheduling, inventory control management, warehousing, and logistics

Forecast material needs while maximizing the utilization of current inventory

Plan and implement lean improvements to maximize materials planning and distribution

Ensure on-time deliveries to meet customer requirements

Determine the best course of actions to improve distribution efficiency


Requirements:
Bachelor's degree

5+ years of materials/supply chain management in automotive manufacturing


Total Compensation:
$100,000 - $120,000
