    Pay Range:
    $ 64.64/hr - $87.27/hr *Please note, the highest starting rate as a new hire is $80.

    80/hr,#based on applicable experience Physician Assistant:

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Physician Assistant (PA), under the direction of the Medical Director and the onsite Supervising Physician provides and coordinates direct patient care.#The PA provides diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventative healthcare service, as delegated by a physician.

    The PA will report to Supervisor/Manager for all employee/employer issues regarding departmental and organizational operations.

    The PA consistently demonstrates the core values of Enloe Medical Center and serves as a role model to other employees.


    EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE:

    Minimum:
    Graduate of a PA educational program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission (ARC) on Education for Physician Assistants (or its predecessor agency)

    OR current certification with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) Desired:
    Recent experience appropriate to the clinical area where practice will occur


    LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
    Current California Physician Assistant License Certification by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistant (NCCPA), if not a graduate from an accredited ARC Physician Assistant educational program Current AHA-HCP CPR recognition Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) number or proof of application Credentialed through the Enloe Medical Staff Office and Finance Office SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE /


    ABILITIES:

    Must have the confidence and experience to work independently with diverse patient populations and experience in accessing specialty referrals and community resources.# Must have the ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.# Must have the ability to lead, motivate, delegate, analyze information and problem solve.

    Nurse Practitioner:

    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Nurse Practitioner (NP), under the direction of the Clinical Director/Supervising Physician and/or the Nurse Manager, is a Registered Nurse who possesses additional clinical and didactic education to function at an advanced level of nursing practice.

    They will be clinically competent in physical diagnosis, psychosocial assessment and management of health-illness needs to provide direct patient care and education to patients, families, students, and nursing staff.# The NP consistently demonstrates the core values of Enloe Medical Center and serves as a role model to other employees.

    Minimum:
    Graduate of a Nurse Practitioner program Desired: Recent experience appropriate to the clinical area where practice will occur


    LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:
    Current licensure with the California Board of Registered Nursing Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with the California Board of Registered Nursing Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner Furnisher with the California Board of Registered Nursing or proof of application within 12 months of hire Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) number or proof of application Meets Centers for Medicare # Medicaid Services (CMS) criteria to bill Medicare Current AHA-HCP CPR recognition Credentialed through the Enloe Medical Staff office and Finance office SKILLS / KNOWLEDGE /
