    Description

    As a Resin Process Manager specialized in Manufacturing/Process/Design Engineering, you will perform standard and complex engineering assignments, often representing a significant portion of larger projects. At this level, you will apply engineering techniques, make design recommendations, and provide technical leadership to a small group of engineers and technicians. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager you will participate in specific phases of engineering assignments, directing the preparation of documentation, ensuring project completion within budgeted time and cost constraints, and contributing to defining engineering approaches.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide technical expertise to address any challenges in resin processes.
    • Stay informed about advancements in resin processing technologies.
    • Implement new technologies to enhance efficiency and quality in the manufacturing process.
    • Create standard operating procedures for the resin department.
    • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of resin recipes in Oracle and control systems.
    • Advocate for the production department in engineering design reviews.
    • Contribute to strategic initiatives aligned with the plant's future state roadmap.
    • Collaborate with teams to ensure understanding of production needs.
    • Investigate deviations from normal batches and repeat failures.
    • Consult with Quality Engineering to determine corrective actions and prevent recurrence.
    • Contribute to strategic initiatives aligned with the plant's future state roadmap.
    • Ensure compliance with Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) goals.
    • Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Management of Change (MOC), Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), and other EHS elements.
    Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
    • 5 years+ of experience in resin processing within an automotive manufacturing environment.
    • Knowledge of Oracle and control systems.
    • Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations.
