    Looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

    We are seeking the right candidate, either a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, to conduct medical assessments for United States Veterans involved in the VA's disability benefits evaluation.

    As part of the Disability Assessments, your role will involve reviewing medical records online via a web portal and conducting focused, face-to-face physical examinations with each Veteran.

    You will be responsible for electronically documenting the examination results mandated by the VA through the designated web platform.

    The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant does not play a role in determining disabilities; these determinations fall under the jurisdiction of the United States Veterans Administration.

    This specific position revolves solely around carrying out Disability Assessments on Veterans. There will be no medical treatment or prescription of medications involved.

    The job entails performing Disability Assessments on an average of 3 to 5 Veterans daily.

    Schedule: 4 days per week - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday

    This position necessitates in-person presence.

    Key Qualities:

    • Keen interest in conducting Independent Medical Assessments.
    • Ability to analyze data from medical reports and examination results to complete questionnaires and form medical judgments.
    • Proficient in time management, with the capability to adhere to tasks and meet requirements.
    • Must possess a valid and unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
    • Able to adeptly operate a computer.

    Prerequisites

    • Required to hold a current, unencumbered NP or PA (NCCPA accredited) license.
    • Meets the credentialing standards established by the VA.
