This position is a split position where the individual provides scheduling/technical support to the Stepping Stones Case Manager or Youth Services Director for about 15-20 hours a week.
Duties and tasks are varied but will include completing the weekly schedule and communications to all parties about the schedule, quality review of attendance and documentation in ICM for all youth supported.
The Program Coordinator will assist with collection and completion of end-of-month paperwork as well as coordinate group activities both on site and in the community.
When performing these tasks, the hours will vary based on program scheduling needs.The rest of the selected candidates' time will be spent operating as direct care staff in the Youth Outreach program Stepping Stones which would be for approximately 20-25 hours a week.
These shifts are typically evening hours that range between the times of 2:30p.m.-7:30 p.m.Position Requirements:
A High School Diploma or GED; and a minimum of two years of clerical/administrative experience; and minimum of 1-year experience in an Residential Program required.
Position also requires someone who is 21 years old or older, who has a valid driver's license for at least one (1) year, but prefer two (2) years, not counting any time on a learner's permit.
In addition, the successful candidate must be able to attend our paid specialized training in its entirety, on and off during your first four (4) weeks of employment - M-F from 8:30 - 5:00 pm.
Applicants also need to pass a reading comprehension and math test, a background check, and pre-employment screenings which include a drug screen and physical/fitness test.
Position requires lifting and transferring (at least 50 pounds), and the ability to provide direct care and implement proper restraint techniques to ensure the health and safety of the persons served.
