    Job Description

    American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position requiring recent fetal monitoring training and the ability to float to Med/Surg and pediatrics.

    Responsibilities
    Position is based in a hospital Labor & Delivery department
    Night shifts from 18:45 to 07:15
    Required to float to Med/Surg and care for pediatric patients as needed
    Every other weekend coverage is required
    Two to three on-call shifts per month are required
    Holiday coverage is required in rotation
    Virtual orientation provided every Monday
    Must be willing and able to float to Med/Surg and care for pediatric patients
    This is a nicotine free facility
    Local candidates are considered but must live outside a 60-mile radius of the facility for eligibility
    Holiday and weekend coverage is part of the rotation
    Candidates are paid on a bi-weekly basis

    Requirements
    Active KS or compact RN license required
    Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience
    Current BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required
    Must have completed an intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring class within the past 24 months
    PALS required prior to start
    EPIC EMR experience highly preferred
    Experience in a rural hospital and prior travel experience preferred
    New graduates will not be considered
