    Description
    Application Developer - Senior
    13+Month Contract
    Bothell, WA (onsite)

    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and developing systems using Microservices architecture, with expertise in Java, Spring, and REST technologies.

    Experience in cloud technologies and CICD practices is highly desirable for this role.


    Responsibilities:
    Design and develop systems utilizing Microservices architecture, focusing on Java, Spring, and REST technologies.
    Implement efficient data processing and communication using SOLR and Kafka.
    Deploy and manage applications using cloud technologies, including Azure, OpenStack, Docker, and Kubernetes.
    Establish and maintain automated build and deployment pipelines using GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, and Nexus or Sonar.
    Conduct thorough unit and function testing using JUnit or Postman to ensure code quality and functionality.


    Requirements:
    Minimum 2+ years of experience in Microservices architecture design.
    6+ years of hands-on experience in Microservices development using Java, Spring, and REST.
    Proficiency in cloud technologies, with at least 2 years of experience working with Azure, OpenStack, Docker, and Kubernetes.

    Strong familiarity with build and CICD technologies, including GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, and Nexus or Sonar, with a minimum of 3 years of practical experience.

    Solid skills in unit and function testing using JUnit or Postman, with a minimum of 4 years of experience.
    Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
