- Support the product development lifecycle stages, including identification, research, design, build, and ship. Own the technical deliveries of the Design phase of the product lifecycle.
- Act as a high-level decision maker, determining design choices and technical standards related to a platform or coding. Document all aspects of the platform's architecture for future reference and maintenance of the platform.
- Take accountability for deliverables and decisions specific to the platform's development and Provide technical leadership to a team of Platform Engineers across multiple products.
- Encourage team members to think creatively and keep them motivated.
- Examples of successful product launches to large user bases
- Proficiency in performant and scalable multi-region system architecture built on cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Knowledge of architectural styles, existing and evolving frameworks and design patterns. Experience with service-oriented and microservices-based architectures

What You Will Do
With our Forestry business's growth, we aim to develop a platform for all our products to be easily viewed and accessed. To help with this initiative, we are seeking an experienced Lead Engineer to join our team.

This role will report out of our Trimble Global headquarters in Westminster, Colorado. A highly qualified employee may be remote, with travel to Westminster for team collaboration.
