    The shift is 4 10 hour shifts; 7a-5p Monday, Tuesday Wednesday and Friday at Riley Children's Hospital.

    Sign on bonus available if eligiblePerforms ultrasound procedures for radiological diagnosis, in a timely fashion, while demonstrating the appropriate knowledge and skills necessary to work with patients from pediatric through geriatric.

    Follows physician's instructions, prepares and operates equipment and positions patients correctly in order to record the requested diagnostic images. Treats patients with care and respect.
    Basic Life Support certification required.
    For ACR accredited ultrasound departments.

    Requires active status through one of the following:
    American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS): Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Abdomen, RDMS(AB), Obstetrics & Gynecology, RDMS(OB/GYN), or Pediatric Sonography, RDMS(PS), and/or Registered Vascular Technologist - Vascular Technology, RVT(VT); American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT): Registered Technologist - Sonography, RT(S) or Vascular Sonography, RT(VS); or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI): Registered Vascular Sonographer, RVS; as required by facility accreditation, if applicable

    Exception:
    if performing breast ultrasound only, must obtain credential through American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS): RDMS(BR); or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT): Registered Technologist
    • Sonography & Breast US, RT(S)(BS), or Radiography, Mammography & Breast Ultrasound, RT(R)(M)(BS); within 18 months of hire.

    For non
    • ACR accredited ultrasound departments.
    Requires candidates to meet one of the two following conditions:

    Must be actively pursuing ultrasound education and have already passed the ARDMS physics boards, or must have graduated from an ultrasound education program.

    Requires certification through one of the methods mentioned in the accredited section above within 12 months of hire.
    May be required to be registered by the ARRT in another modality, if applicable.
    May require license from Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH), if applicable.
    Requires ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positions when the condition of the patient does not permit routine positioning.#LI-Onsite#J-18808-Ljbffr
