Job Summary
This faculty member will teach undergraduate music therapy courses such as practicum class functional music skills courses and music therapy core classes in their areas of expertise This faculty member will be expected to supervise multiple undergraduate practicum teams in various settings and manage the pre-internship clinical training program This faculty member will collaborate with music therapy faculty members participate in music therapy program meetings The clinic management duties may include communicating with university partners as necessary managing all intake processes for clients assigning clients to appropriate music therapists maintaining electronic medical records and billing procedures As time allows the clinical coordinator pursues new community connections for music therapy services Summer administrative and clinical work may be necessary This faculty member will carry a 12 hour load each semester with credit for music therapy clinic management practicum coordination and any courses taught
