    Job Summary
    The Launch Systems Integration (LSI) Engineer will integrate Millennium's spacecrafts onto the selected launch vehicle, coordinate processing at the launch base, and conduct launch and ascent operations. In addition, the LSI Engineer will manage the interface between Millennium and the other launch campaign stakeholders, including the the Launch Vehicle Contractor (LVC), the Launch Range (Range), launch base processing facilities, data and communication services, day of launch tracking, and other participants.

    Responsibilities

    • Own and manage interface control documentation (ICDs) including requirement development and specification
    • Perform interface requirement verification
    • Plan, coordinate and execute day of launch activities with all participating contractors and agencies
    • Develop integrated schedules and plans
    • Engage with multiple stakeholders and subject matter experts across a wide range of technical and programmatic disciplines

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in aerospace, mechanical, or electrical engineering
    • 5+ years experience performing mission design, orbital, dynamic, or structural analyses
    • Experience in spacecraft launch operations, flight operations, integration and test, or ground processing operations

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 5+ years of program level experience interfacing with program customers and external contractors
    • 5+ years of experience working with space launch community stakeholders including launch base range safety, launch vehicle contractors, launch base processing facilities and US Government space launch organizations.
    • Current SSBI

    Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only of what is reasonably expected to be paid for the position. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

    Summary Pay-Range

    • Level 1: $73,100 - $107,500
    • Level 2: $87,550 - $128,750
