Join our dynamic team as a Licensed Massage Therapist (Part-Time / Contract) and bring relief, relaxation, and wellness to our valued clients. Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy to alleviate pain and promote relaxation.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals.
- Apply specialized techniques such as trigger point therapy and occupational health massage to target specific muscle groups and pain points.
- Educate clients on self-care practices, post-treatment recommendations, and overall wellness strategies.
- Maintain accurate treatment records, document patient progress, and adhere to all safety protocols and medical guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members to develop personalized treatment plans that support pain management and overall well-being.
- Ensure a welcoming environment by providing exceptional customer service, addressing client questions, and fostering positive relationships.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification.
- Proven experience in patient service, with a focus on patient assessment and customized treatment plans.
- Expertise in deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and pain management techniques.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and occupational health principles.
- Prior experience working in a med spa or similar setting is highly desirable.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining high standards of professionalism and safety standards.
