    ContinuousDescriptionTHIS POSTING MAY CLOSE AT ANY TIME ONCE A SUFFICIENT NUMBER OF APPLICATIONS HAVE BEEN RECEIVED.The Journeyman Plumber performs work of a skilled variety demanding a high degree of manual and technical competency required for the repair, maintenance, testing, installation, alteration, and modernization of plumbing.

    Examples of DutiesInstalls, maintains, and repairs plumbing systems and fixture installations.
    Locates and troubleshoots plumbing problems.

    Understands all aspects of plumbing systems and how to check for leaks and determine what needs to be repaired and or replaced.

    Installs plumbing and sanitary fixtures and equipment.
    Responds to emergency calls on a 24-hour call cycle.

    Keeps tools and work area clean and orderly and working with the Master Plumber to keep proper supply of plumbing parts.

    Communicates regularly with Master Plumber to discuss work order status and issues in order to resolve quickly with minimal impact to County Operations.

    Regular and punctual attendance is required.
    Performs other related duties as required.
    Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma or GED.Currently licensed as a Journeyman Plumber in Texas required.
    Possession of a valid driver's license. Must be able to obtain a State of Texas driver's license within 90 days.
    Must be able to pass a State Criminal History background check.

    Family Medical Leave:
